Truck Repair Across Yuma County, AZ
One number for the whole map — river to Dateland, border to the Proving Ground.
Yuma County is a freight county disguised as a desert. Two hundred thousand people, a winter produce economy that feeds the continent, a commercial border crossing, an interstate carrying San Diego–Phoenix traffic, and farm valleys where the equipment outnumbers the houses. Every piece of that runs on diesel, and when a piece stops, somebody’s day gets expensive. We built a mobile heavy-repair service for exactly this map: roadside response, diesel diagnostics, semi repair, trailer and liftgate work, reefer service, fleet maintenance, and farm equipment repair, countywide.
The Two Corridors
I-8 is the east–west spine: the river bridge, the Yuma exits, the Foothills, the Telegraph Pass grade that breaks loaded rigs for a living, then the long hot flats through Ligurta, Wellton, and Tacna. US-95 is the north–south working lane: the San Luis border crossing, the Somerton and Gadsden ag ground, Yuma, and the run north toward the Proving Ground. Between them, the county road grid ties every field, shed, and yard into the network. Breakdowns on all three get the same treatment — direct dispatch to a mechanic, an honest ETA, and a written quote before wrenches turn.
Season Logic, County Wide
From November to March the county works at double time: harvest crews at dawn, reefers cycling through coolers from Yuma to San Luis, and every truck and tractor earning its whole year in five months. Our priority rules match — loaded reefers and harvest-critical equipment first, everything quoted honestly, and pre-season fleet shakedowns in October so the rules get invoked less. Summer flips the logic: heat kills batteries, cooling systems, and A/C, and the smart fleets use the lull for maintenance while we’re watching for exactly those failures.

Countywide Questions
What parts of Yuma County do you actually cover?
The working county: Yuma, the Fortuna Foothills, Somerton, Gadsden, San Luis, Wellton, Tacna, Ligurta, Dome Valley, the Yuma and Gila Valley farm grids, and the Winterhaven/Bard side of the river. I-8 from the Colorado River to Dateland; US-95 from the border to the Proving Ground gate.
Do you go up US-95 toward the Yuma Proving Ground and Martinez Lake?
The 95 corridor north of town up to the Proving Ground area is coverable — call with the location and we'll confirm timing. On-post access follows your contract's rules; most work stages outside the gate.
We have trucks and equipment spread across the county. Can one arrangement cover them all?
That's exactly what a fleet relationship with us looks like: yard PMs wherever the units sleep, field and roadside response wherever they break, and one set of per-unit records regardless of geography.
Is there a mobile diesel mechanic in Yuma County for farm equipment, not just trucks?
Yes — tractors, harvest support rigs, water trucks, and irrigation pump engines are a standing part of the work, across every valley in the county. Diesel is diesel; the tools travel.
What if I'm just outside the county — Dateland, Quartzsite, the dunes?
Call anyway. Long calls are normal in this corner of Arizona; we'll either take it with an honest ETA or tell you straight that someone closer makes more sense for you today.
