How small a fleet is worth setting up on a PM schedule?
There's no minimum. Three water trucks, a pair of produce tractors and their reefers, five delivery box trucks — if the vehicles earn your living, a standing schedule saves you the same phone calls and breakdowns it saves a 40-unit fleet.
Can you service our trucks before morning dispatch?
Early yard work is the whole point of mobile fleet service — 7 AM at your lot before the trucks roll is a normal booking, and during produce season we'll talk about earlier. Evening slots after the trucks come home work too.
What's included in a PM visit?
Oil and filters, full grease, brake stroke and lining measurements, air system leak-down and dryer check, tires and pressures, lights and DOT items, batteries load-tested, belts and hoses eyeballed by someone who knows what desert heat does to them. You get a written sheet per unit — what was done, what's wearing, what to budget for.
Do you track DOT annual inspection dates for us?
We keep per-unit service records with dates and mileage, flag upcoming annuals, and fix out-of-service items before an inspector finds them. What we don't do is pencil-whip anything — a record from us reflects what was actually measured.
Seasonal fleet — our trucks mostly run November to March. Does that work?
